Sorry, as a huge horror fan, this was not the game changer we have all been waiting for. I was extremely excited to see this. After all the hype I was expecting to be scared ****less. And I wasn't.

I did like the actors in the film, with the exception of that annoying curly haired local. His entire role was completely unnecessary. I may have jumped a few times and I did love that aspect, as a horror lover, I have been waiting for a film that would actually make me jump as that hasn't happened in years.

Overall, I was very much disappointed with this effort. Walked in with so many expectations, and I walked out with my head down shaking it "No.".
