There were many moments in this film that I thought were very funny. But it doesn't hold up as a solid film. It will definitely entertain you. You also don't have to worry about thinking at all.

From reading some of the other user comments, I get the impression that fans of Will Farrell are split between those who like the simple low brow humor and those who like something a little more intellectual and unique.

Not to say that there's anything wrong with being a fan of either. But this one is more of the former, and so fans of Anchorman will probably find it lacking, as I do. So if you're like me, you'll probably want to wait until this one comes out on video or is being aired endlessly on cable television.

Will Ferrell does fine with a funny, but still uninteresting character. John Heder does the bare minimum, as we all know he only has one character in him (you can hear Napoleon come out a couple of times when his character becomes frustrated).

Arnett and Poehler are fantastic, and as others have said, it's too bad we couldn't have seen more of them. For fans of Jenna Fischer, you do get to see quite a bit more of her than you do on The Office (skimpy lingerie, anyone?).

..which for some, may make it worth going to see. I also enjoyed the under-utilized character of the stalker, played by Nick Swardson. My favorite line of his in the whole movie: "And remember, I'm still gonna kill you someday.

" And Will Ferrell throwing up while wearing the giant head of a wizard costume for a children's ice show is one of the more memorable moments of the film.
