Like so many Ferrell movies, it started out very funny for the first 10 or20 minutes, then slowly sank to boring predictability. It wanted to be a satire of skating/sports hype but wimped out into a strange kind of homoerotic buddy romance.
Good for a few laughs, but don't bet your evening on it.
