Review of Blades of Glory (2007) by Douglash. — 30 Mar 2007

I was kinda disappointed. Not only do a surprising number of the jokes fall flat, but the whole "Ew, it's two guys touching" gag wears thin before the film has run half its course. I've never been particularly impressed with Jon Heder, but I do expect a little bit more from Will Ferrell.

Having said all of that, there is a certain unquantifiable nice-ness to the picture that keeps it from being a total disaster, and although I'm certain I won't remember it at all five years from now, it's still a relatively painless way to kill two hours.
