Even if it is the weakest of the three, I've never gotten all the hate for this 'Blade' installment. A reaction to Ryan Reynolds, perhaps. Me, I felt the introduction of him and Jessica Biel helped shake the formula up a bit, which by the third film in a series is kind of necessary.
Reynolds actually has some good lines here, and I dug the bizarro take Parker Posey has on her vampire character. The story's version of "Dracula" makes for a so-so villain. David Goyer's direction is less slick and a little more gritty, but competent.
