Review of Blade: Trinity (2004) by Alexander C — 07 Dec 2012

Blade, now a wanted man by the FBI, must join forces with the Night-stalkers to face his most challenging enemy yet: Dracula.

Wesley Snipes: Blade.

Kris Kristofferson: Abraham Whistler.

Dominic Purcell: Drake.

Jessica Biel: Abigail Whistler.

Ryan Reynolds: Hannibal King.

Blade Trinity lacks the finesse and style of it's predecessors yet isn't a total waste. The plot seems to be a jumble and the Director hasn't got the same flair as Del Toro's or Norrington's pieces.

Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King looks the part but everytime he opens his mouth this weedy voice comes out which I didn't expect. He makes up for it with his crazy ass humour that made me laugh at the sheer silliness of it.

Jessica Biel as Abigail is abit of a maverick Actress in her choices but she wasn't too bad. Hell her Bow and Arrow was an awesome addition not to mention some kick ass moves.

Kris Kristofferson and Wesley Snipes make Blade work hands down regardless.

Dominic Purcell as a butch Dracula was abit much for me despite having some excellent contacts I didn't find him to be my idea of the king Of Vamps even in transformed state.

So overall Trinity is OTT action, iffy acting, a plot that is worryingly sparse not to mention anything new yet Trinity manages to be fun in areas and some of the fight scenes will hold attention.
