Review of Blade: Trinity (2004) by Josh H — 22 Sep 2013
Not that the first two were masterpieces by any stretch (enjoyable enough), but this one really takes a nose dive. I always say the key to most superhero movies is the villain and when the villain is Parker Posey, it's hard to take it seriously.
Now, the Blade movies have always been a bit light ... but the addition of Ryan Reynolds didn't help. In fact, he seems to be maxed out on the whole comic book movie genre (Green Lantern, Deadpool, this guy).
His attempts at comic relief were awful. This series does what most trilogies do -- bomb out in act 3.
