Review of Blade: Trinity (2004) by Alan W — 27 Dec 2010
The Last Part of the Blade Franchise (till now) but not the best. THis Time some Vampire's discover the Grave of Dracula and achieve to revoke him. Now Drake shall kill Blade. Blade on the other Hand has some Problems with the Police cause he accidently killed a Human while Hunting Vampires and got Filmed.
He gets Arrested, Whistler Dies in an Explosion. After that He gets rescued by the Nightstalker, a group of Human which hunts Vampires. Led by Abby (Secret Daughter of Whistler) and Hannibal (Ex-Famelia).
The Characters are quite cool and fitting in the Setting. I like Ryan Reynolds so I really like it that he is Acting in this Movie. Wesley Snipes looks like he doesn't want to make this Movie and the Truth is he really doesn't want to.
But all in all the Performances are from solid to good (best Performance was the blind Women). The Action is really cool and good to look at but the best Scenes were the fight in the Police Station (The Bow!!) and the Fight at the End (Especially the Swordfight between Drake and Blade).
The Special Effects are good too and Vampire Killing never looks this good till that time. The End is good and leaves room for some Sequels. All in all Blade Trinity is a good Sequel of the Franchise but a Step Back from the Awesome Blade II.
Nehterless it's still a cool Action Movie and worth a watch for fans of the Series or the Genre.
