Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by David O — 20 Nov 2017
Blade Runner 2049 gives us a compelling story which unravels brilliantly, the same as the original. Ryan Gosling eventually settles into the role, however the rest of the cast seem underused with such a focus on Gosling.
The cinematography and attention to detail is engaging however Harrison Ford and Ana De Armas feel underused, along with the villains, whose storyline seems to go nowhere. The visuals are of course amazing with a great soundtrack, a tad more action and scenes for certain characters would make it a more perfect movie.
