Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Brian S — 28 Feb 2018

This may very well be one of the best sequels ever made. It's easily just as good as the first movie, which was a good sci-fi gem, but I found it sometimes quite long. Ryan Gosling gives an extraordinary performance, as well as Harrison Ford, who also starred in the very first Blade Runner.

But the best aspect of this flick is, by far, the eye-popping, amazing special effects and what's even more extraordinary is that the movie makes them look so normal, so simple. There basically isn't a scene without special effects.

A masterpiece and I call it the best sequel of 2017 for sure. Recommended !!
