Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Art C — 21 Jan 2018

Beautifully shot and created, "Blade Runner 2049" might not be as strong or compelling as its predecessor, but thanks to its realistic CGI and set design, the film manages to be impactful in its own way.

In my opinion, the film would have been better if it cut out some of its lengthy shots. They serve no purpose to the story, but rather it makes the film's pace feel a little bit sluggish. Still, enjoy the film for its craftsmanship and direction.
