Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Liam H — 08 Jan 2018

This film is a good film although not the mind blowing experience that some have reported it to be. The film is stylish, it looks good. Also it keeps the same tone and pace as the first film and matches it in style which is impressive.

The story line is good it holds your attention, it is interesting and thought provoking. Also the film exudes an understated tension and eerieness which is also in keeping with the first film. However I would say the film is a little uneventful and not much happens on screen other than the central story line.

Of the action that does happen it is shot beautifully, is tense and stylish....there just should have been more of it.
