Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Ailsa L — 29 Nov 2017
How upsetting to sit through such a long winded, detached story line. Truly, they should have pumped this movie up with an online "gap closer" so you could understand who is who and how they became what they are within the context of the story.
Though visually beautiful it becomes a bore when the viewer is lost by the detached characters. In the end you don't really care who is and who isn't a replicant. Two stars: One for cinematography and one for the music.
Sadly, zero for the rest. Just another butchered Part II that will not be remembered.
