Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Sr K — 08 Nov 2017

I'd give this movie a 7/10. It wasn't as fast paced and exciting as I had been expecting so I felt it got a little slow at points. Perhaps, if I saw it again now knowing and having proper expectations, then I'd enjoy it much more.

That aside, every other aspect of the movie is truly stunning. The visuals, the sound mixing, the musical score.... Everything just popped and it was truly a masterpiece in that aspect. Very happy I saw it in the theaters for that reason.

Kind of wish I saw it in 3D, which I don't often wish given for the most part I don't think the extra cost of 3D movies in theaters is generally worth it.
