After my first view of this film, I felt it was more style over substance, but upon second viewing I realized I was wrong and there is plenty of substance beneath waiting to be uncovered with multiple viewings.
If you're a fan of the original Blade Runner, you'll love this film. If you aren't, as I wasn't a big fan of it, I loved it as a film on its own and it brought more depth and meaning when I went back and viewed the original after seeing this.
This is the rare sequel that supersedes the original; think Godfather: Part II or The Dark Knight.
