Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Dan B — 23 Oct 2017

This was a good movie. The cinematics seemed more like Tron Legacy than Blade Runner, but it still had a touch of the old movie. I usually can guess the plot and twist pretty early in a movie, but this one held me until the end.

I didn't care for some of the character development, but I understood the point of each character as they made their way through the story. It was just disheartening to become attached to a character only to realize that they were a throwaway character to move the plot along.

Subsequeltnly, it is very evident that Sony wants to do a sequel. Perhaps we will get to see how this story progresses in October of 2020.
