Everything a sequel should be and more. It recaptures the amazing visuals and aesthetic ambience that the original put forth and even improves upon that. It delves deeper into the Blade Runner universe and mythos and continues to ask us the same question that we're still scratching our heads at: What makes us human? Blade Runner 2049 is just as good, if not better, than the original and will cement itself into cinema history as a sci-fi classic.
