Going into this movie, I was expecting myself to not be blown away.

I was pleasantly surprised.

People who saw this may think back on it and see it as a slow-moving, boring sci-fi movie with not much happening. Trust me, this is NOT the case. On the surface level it may seem that way, but with enough understanding and enough attention to detail, it's a brilliant work of art in every sense of the word. The soundtrack, the narrative structure, the tone and atmosphere all form together to make an unforgettable noir movie.
