Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Am C — 10 Oct 2017
I figured the new Blade Runner must be better than the first one with such good reviews, but the only thing that was slightly better was the plot. It started with a good action scene, and then after that became a slow-drag of a movie that felt 4 hours long instead of 2 and a half.
The sound and music (if you want to call it that) was aweful, each scene dragged on too long, and the more interesting potential story lines weren't given any effort to develop. And the weather!!! Raining and snowing in LA - it all just made no sense.
I was looking forward to a good Sci-fi, but this one is still a snooze-fest.
