Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Steve R — 07 Oct 2017

I saw the original BR when it came out in the early 80's. It was hard to understand but I was young and over the years I was in love with it. In BR 2049 I was just thrown back into that dystopian world and though the creators say you don't need to see the original BR I really thing you do.

Watching BR 2049 in the theater was a magical experience and just slightly difficult to understand. When I watched it at home I am astonished how beautiful it is. I am able to watch it many times over and always find something new and the music and visuals transport me into 2049.
