WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! Blade Runner 2049 is truly a masterpiece, and in many ways it is better than the original 1982 cult classic, Blade Runner. Denis Villeneuve has crafted a true sci-fi classic that will inspire future generations of film makers.
Yes, it is long--almost three hours long, and yes, 2049 moves at a relatively slow pace compared to today's films. But for moviegoers who appreciate complex themes and true cinematic craftsmanship, Blade Runner 2049 is well worth the time and the money.
Like most great films, it is a story that keeps on giving. I've already watched it twice, gleaning new insights from it with each viewing, and still I feel like it has more to offer. I plan on seeing it in theaters again.
