Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Emel R — 04 Oct 2017
Sometimes you forgot how a film should be, look, or make feel because the state of films today is overproduced with cliches, cut-size dialogue and unrealistic characters. Blade Runner 2049 is the past and future of films, will inspire upcoming directors because is more than a movie, it is an experience, the perfect blending between music and picture will transport you into a world, a world you will probably never live but you will care for it and for their character, you will care for officer K and will feel identified with him and his quest for the truth, a truth you will desperately want it to be true and that is maybe the strongest cope of the movie, even over the original.
What can I say about the music and cinematography that you haven't seen in the trailers? it is what it is, a gorgeous movie with a spectacular music, faithful to it's predecessor and that was maybe my only complain about it, the so-called tribute with the eye at the very beginning and the unrealistic CGI-Rachel but hey, there is no perfection out there, neither in this movie but it is close.
