The fidelity to the original Blade Runner film is evident in this sequel. It is so evident that it sometimes feels like a hyperbolic version of the original. Yet the brilliant cinematography and elaboration on Philip K.
Dick's dystopian reality are so captivating that this film is a must-see for any science fiction fan (especially of the dystopian variety). The story itself takes a back seat to the journey, but the journey is oh so grand.
It is rare to see production this cohesive, a rarity that was witnessed in the original Blade Runner director's cut.
