Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Jose V — 05 Oct 2017
A well crafted furtherance to the storyline with many of the noir tropes of the first aiding the continuity between both. Where the narrative progresses so moves on the mise en scene as it trips over the Babylonian desert remains of DW Griffith's Intolerance.
The dystopia pulsates in a sound & vision wake up to the senses. This is a worthy & intellegent sequel to the 1982 film taking 'tears in the rain' & turning them to snow. Go see it.
