Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Fish D — 05 Oct 2017
I concur with most of the other 4-5 start comments regarding the cinematography and special effects. After that, I was too busy trying to stay awake. I completely understand the philosophical debate purposed, but if people are being honest, the story line was basic and DID NOT require 2 hours & 44 minutes to tell it.
Additionally, Ryan's "Joe" was a well developed character; however, the protagonist (Jared Leto) was simply silly. The original Blade Runner had a voiceover that was removed in the Director's Cut; however, this movie could've used that voiceover by Ryan.
It might've kept me from dozing off...
