Too slow. Too long. Nothing much really happens in this movie and what little happens, happens SLOWLY. Every 45 minutes or so there is a miniature action scene. Almost no character actually gets an introduction.
Scenes/situations that should have caused tension or suspense are devoid of either. It's a nice-looking movie, and I really liked that they weren't afraid of stretches of almost complete silence and stillness. But, for the most part, I was pretty bored. Sorry. I prefer the original.
