Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Semaj P — 17 Feb 2018
A very slow film with pretty, but overly sterile visuals, 2049 manages to put forth a pretty clever script with a smart twist despite having one of the oddest sex scenes in the history of film. Harrison Ford puts forth a surprisingly good late career performance, and Ryan Gosling passes, but unfortunately, the once great Jared Leto is straying further and further from the talent he showed in Requiem For A Dream and Dallas Buyers Club.
