Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Alex T — 08 Oct 2017
The film is a work of art. the story had greater potential than was achieved but l largely due to a lack of emotional connection with the rogue androids. the original film had the character of Roy Batty which although violent was brought to this violence as a way to survive. the lingering question on mortally by a maker that could easily grant it beckons our own mortality. the film lacked the magical vangelis music which so defined it. I know this film will be rewatched many more times and each time a new nueance will be revealed. I can only pray an alternate ending is forth coming where an aged Rachel is found not dead but a living woman and it's Deckard that was always the andriod and that's why they are searching so frantically, just wishful thinking ð~?
See the film it's awesome and better than anything in sci-fi movies today.
