Blade Runner 2049 is without a doubt one of the best sequels ever created. The world of the original Blade Runner was dark, greedy and full of philosophical questions and 2049 manages to not only preserve the previous film, but expand on its predecessor.

What a surprise it was to see Harrison Ford not as a cameo but a real character. Just how much of the modern films ever do that? The original film was quite slow-paced and sometimes boring to watch, but the world it showed, the questions it raised kept many fans going.

And now we get this, a slightly modernized version of Ridley Scott's masterpiece. But it was modernized in a very careful way, trying to save as much of the setting as they possibly could, while improving what they couldn't.

Blade Runner 2049 is still a slow film, unfolding its detective story in such a way that you can't even predict what is going to happen next. It leaves you at the edge of the seat at every plot twist you encounter.

The world became even darker and harsher and the protagonist is almost always has to overcome difficulties, that he can't even grasp. All in all, Blade Runner 2049 is full of solid performance from the actors, gorgeous visuals, great camera work and atmosphere.
