Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Daniel C — 08 Jun 2014
The first time I saw the movie, I cried inside like a little boy. I saw the possibility that a humanoid robot could act more human than an actual human (with more empathy and hate). This is a story about how we can learn from the things we create, because sometimes the apprentice can outshine the master.
Blade Runner might look a tad bit old but that's because it was made in the 80s. What offsets the lack of stunning CGI or similar shit is the interaction between the players in the game. This is a movie you're gonna want to see and understand before you die; it marks this generation and the beginning of a time in our civilization in which we simply become more.
