Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Daniel H — 22 Jul 2014
One of the greatest science fiction movies of all time. It's heavy on the philosophy about life but it's very accessible. It's a visually pleasing movie, Harrison Ford captures Rick Deckard completely, Sean Young manages to suppress her madness enough to capture our hearts with her Rachael Tyrell and Rutger Hauer still manages to show them both up with what may be the greatest "villain" of all time.
The only downside is that the beginning has a lot of semi-unimportant scenes that drag along a bit, it's still excellent though.
