Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Kyle S — 01 Aug 2014
Some people say it's masterpiece, some say it's way overrated. I am simply in between. Being a huge fan of Philip K Dick and Ridley Scott, this movie seemed pretty promising. It mostly was until the end which is what people say they liked the most but I found it kinda strange.
Yet it was still tense, I thought it was very bizarre. The movie does have an interesting premise and a cool visual style, it is still worth a check out. Not amazing but good. The biggest plus is the moral depth that was added with the questions the film brought up.
If robots can be so lifelike nowadays, what makes us human? This is quite like Philip K Dick. Anyone who is a fan of him knows that this is the most faithful adaptation of one of his novels and it's a darn good one!
