Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Eric S — 31 Aug 2017
23/30 For me, Blade Runner doesn't offer sufficiently satisfying action on the one hand and on the other, by cutting out the John Isidore sub-plot and the household/initial characterisation of the protagonist, not achieving the depth of the original Dick novel.
Noir isn't a genre I like particularly, but with its well-crafted sets and scenes Blade Runner still deserves a mention in film history.
