Definitely needs to be watched more than once. Didn't really care for it on the first viewing, pretty impressed on the second. Blade Runner is an inventive, ambitious, and highly influential neo-noir sci-fi movie that has influenced many of the great sci-fi movies that came after it.
It's complex, its visual effects still hold up as great, and even the music is pretty good. It's not for everybody, but if you've seen it once and didn't really like it, I'd recommend a second watch.
