Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Remy D — 18 Jul 2015
Ridley Scott's Blade Runner is a masterpiece that I see why people loved it. The characters are memorable, and the acting is terrific, especially from Harrison Ford. The effects look spectacular to look at and at times, I thought it look like a real place.
The writing is great and it gives a lot of thought-provoking moments. The pacing may be slow, but the movie got me very invested to see what's going on. The villains are memorable, and it has some nice action scenes.
There are a lot of things in the movie that I haven't seen before, and I'm happy that other films I've seen haven't tried to be like Blade Runner, although there might be some films that might be like that.
The romance is very sweet, and the score is stellar to listen to. Blade Runner shows that even slow pacing films can be influential if done amazingly well.
