Review of Blade II (2002) by Stacy S — 29 Mar 2010
In the first film he fought against his sworn enemies....This time he will fight with them. I was thoroughly impressed with "Blade II," although I do feel it could have used some work. Snipes finally let's loose and shows some emotion in this film, the acting is a lot better compared to the first. There is of course lots of action in the film, though at times it loooked cartoonish, it still is well done. Guillermo Del Toro's "Blade II" is a complete triumph over the first film, a dark, dreamlike film that's interesting, gory, action-packed and wonderfully constructed.
