Review of Blade II (2002) by Adam M — 02 Nov 2010
Action packed follow up. In this one, Blade has to team up with the vampires he usually fights to help take out an even deadlier foe; Reaper vampires who seem even stronger than vamps and even feed off them.
This has some brilliant action set pieces and CGI and Luke Goss is brilliant as the head Reaper Novak but the vampires agree to fight alongside Blade a little to easily and theres a shit twist toward the end meaning this isn't quite as good as the first but still a decent sequel.
Hardcore vampire fans might argue that this is more of a straightforward action/horror than actual fully fanged vampire film but its still very good and the part vampire/zombie/predator Reapers are pretty cool.
