Review of Blade II (2002) by Joshua S — 09 Mar 2012
A fun continuation of the Blade series with a lot of set-pieces and general action. Oddly for a del Toro film the action seems really choppily edited to the point it feels unimpressive. Snipes' physicality and ability was prove in part 1 but with strobe-speed cuts its hard to be impressed with the swordplay or the action in general.
The story is effective and there is fun to be had.. its just not as satisfying as it should be.
