Review of Blade II (2002) by Charlie D — 28 Apr 2012
Not as good as it's predecessor, yet still entertaining. The fight scenes are well choreographed and dialogue/acting is as off-beat and fun as ever, but the movie suffers from two things the first didn't: an overuse of CG (and bad CG at that) and a very cliche, forgettable villain.
The movie takes a big leap at the beginning that completely throws away a pivotal plot point of Blade 1, leaving me feeling a bit ripped off, but when I got into the groove Wesley set up, I was enjoying it.
