Review of Blade II (2002) by Joe C — 27 Aug 2012
Again, Blade was never really my thing but I enjoyed the second more than the first because it took the villain slot and really beefed it up. Adding a hybrid vampire as the issue and leading Blade to team with his enemy partially to fight this plague is pretty entertaining.
After seeing the commitment with Luke Goss as Jared Nomak and how he had no real prior fight training, he earned my respect. Blade as the character was just as bad ass as ever. I enjoyed this one more than the first, but the quality is about the same.
Still worth the watch though.
