The second film in the Blade series was almost on par with the first, but it lacked emotion. Blade isn't really a character that is full of alot of emotion, but this movie portrayed him even more as souless character.
I understand that he is suppose to be the ultimate undead killing machine, but even killing machines display some kind emotion. On the other hand, the story wasn't that bad and the action and fight scenes were good too.
It wasn't bad sequel to fill the gap between the first and third movie...it just lacked emotion.
