Review of Blade II (2002) by Adam S — 27 Apr 2012
This movie is a failure by del Toro's standards, and definitely a failure by Marvel's standards, falling short even of Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider.
This movie has some surprises, it was good to see two of my favourite people - Kris Kristofferson and Danny John-Jules - on the screen. But this movie is certainly not why they are awesome. (The Highwaymen and Red Dwarf respectively account for them).
No real plot movement, just..... boring. I found myself get distracted. Some nice action scenes, but that's it.
