Review of Blade II (2002) by Richard R — 07 Aug 2012
The second blade film was good, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed watching it. I still watch it on occasion. But it was not as good as the first. Some of the style of the first one was substituted with flashiness, the villains were practically lifeless, his allies were too many to keep track of and resurrecting whistler so easily detracted from the emotional impact his death had in the first film.
His emotional connection to the lead female vampire is interesting to watch and the action again does not disappoint. Still, take note from the first one...keep it epic!
