Review of Blade II (2002) by The Critic ( — 08 Aug 2012
Even better than the original with a stronger script coming to life the competent direction of Guillermo del Toro. Wesley Snipes is more likeable here than in his previous outing as the Daywalker Blade and his sidekick Scud (played to perfection by Norman Reedus) is a much-welcomed addition to the series.
Also, the villains here are far more interesting and the special effects, whilst looking a little computer-generated at time, adds to the wow factor created by the excellent stunts and action sequences.
'Blade II' is a consistently entertaining and highly satisfying vampire flick with bite that never forgets to have fun.
