My Review.
This movie had at director Guillermo Del Toro but this movie doesn't let me feel for the character. But it is none the less a great action Comic book picture. This movie doesn't have the great visual style of some Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy but I honestly think that's Because of the fact that they probably used real makeup and we have seen the fiery ash from the first movie.
The Film revolves around Blade having rescued his mentor and friend Whistler now having to work with his enemy Damaskinos to face a greater threat known as the Reapers.
I loved this blade movie a little bit more then the first so it's like okay we gave the fans an okay sort of feel good action motion picture with emotional depth and character development with great action so let's do a great action motion picture. I really don't know how well it follows the comics but if you watch the film you can tell that Guillermo Del Toro tried to make a Blade special for Blade fans because that's the kind of director he is.
I really like the interactions with Rienhard played by Ron Perlman and Blade cause it brings humor to the movie and while Rienhard just wants to kill Blade but he can't yet and sooner or later there's actually a twist in the film that actually surprised me cause I just honestly didn't see it coming.
This is a great comic book movie I like Blade each time I see a good Blade movie and hopefully I'll see some more I give Blade 2 a 4 out of 5.
