Review of Blade (1998) by Kyle S — 09 Aug 2014
A tight budget, action, comic book movie infused with nonlogical dialogue and 90's techno music. With a weak central villain and characters, Wesley Snipes is the only good addition in terms of acting alongside Kris Kristofferson.
Everyone else like the actress who played Karen were very poorly acted and sometimes got on my nerves. And then the dialogue was bad to the point where it just made no sense. People were saying things that their characters would never ever say.
Honestly, the best part about the movie is the action scenes which are well done. A lot of the time you can tell that it's all fist to fist contact during the fights and it's also very violent if that's what you're into, I guess.
Though the violence did make the fights better. Overall, a comic book adaptation, barely decent, 90's cheese fest.
