Review of Blade (1998) by Anthony K — 10 Sep 2017

Absolutely goddamn ridiculous plot, with so many contrivances and coincidences that there is no way you can take it seriously. But that's not really why you're here. You're here for the stylish pre-Matrix raves and black leather outfits, the good-for-their-time special effects, and well choreographed action.

I respect this film for paving the way for comic book films to come, and Wesley Snipes' fun take on the character, but it's certainly not "good" by any stretch.
