Review of Blacula (1972) by Frog B — 23 Jan 2010
While many if not all Blaxploitation films are considered campy or full of holes, "Blacula" is certainly no exception. As with this genre of film, it's what you take from it. It is easy to laugh at it or scrutinize the various plot holes, but I plead that this is a film that appeals to a certain audience and that you either get it or you don't.
Among all of the Blaxploitation films I would have to choose this one as my favorite. I love this movie for its campy nature and because of this, it's fun to watch.
