This was a really great film. Masterful direction, beautiful writing, and an excellent score all made it an incredible viewing experience. The thing I loved most was the positive note it almost came to, saying we are making way but have some work to do.

Then the ending montage came along and ruined everything the movie had been working towards. It felt tacked on, unnecessary, and repetitive. It basically got rid of all of the progress the characters made, and made their arcs fruitless.

I am disappointed the Spike Lee sacrificed his movie for politics.
