One of Spike's most sophisticated, artistically mature, and impactful movies. Those who gave low ratings claiming that the movie is too political are clueless -- everything in our life IS political.
And when a movie deals with the KKK, it cannot be ANYTHING BUT political. Does the director/filmmaker have an agenda, definitely. Do you have to agree with their agenda? Nope. But, then, perhaps you should be more aware of the facts: there is pretty much NO WAY for a black filmmaker to NOT have an angle or view when it comes to the history of The Klan - how could he when the group depicted is itself Political AND with AN OVERT AGENDA (to eliminate or degrade an entire race.
